Sauna moisture control

A sauna room needs a humidity level of 10% to 20%, unlike a 100% humidity steam room. To protect the heating element, take 2 to 3 ounces of water and pour it slightly on the stone. In that way, it controls the heating and cooling elements.

Heat-resistant salt bricks are made only from 100% pure Himalayan pink salt. Because of their excellent thermal capacity and heat-absorbing nature, they can handle all ranges of temperature easily up to 500° F.

Process step by step

Prepare the Wall

According to the client's demand of client measure the area and calculate the number of bricks or tiles. Plan the layout, then cut the bricks or other wooden frames. 

Installation of Support Structure

According to the demand, a support system should be installed. Space is required behind the bricks for lighting and ventilation for fresh air.

Choose Suitable Installation Materials

The adhesive or mortar must be suitable. The adhesive or mortar must be compatible with the temperature and humidity of sauna walls. Adhesives are simply used for indoor tiles and ordinary interiors. In the case of sauna walls, use the mortar or follow the recommendation of the manufacturers of salt bricks.  

Installation of Bricks

Start work from the bottom upward. Salt bricks should be arranged according to the colour pattern that will create a lavish look. Before proceeding to the other row, make sure each brick is properly joined to the other brick.

Installation of backlight.

Himalayan salt walls create a lavish look with background light. Proper heat and low-voltage LED lighting are used behind the space of bricks that create a glowing effect. Electrical components must be selected according to the sauna room temperature.
